The British Library have announced that they will be holding an Harry Potter exhibition between October 2017 and February 2018, and you can buy tickets online NOW. The event will mark the 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, giving fans the opportunity to look closer at the magic behind J.K. Rowlings’ books.
20 years? Damn I feel old.
The exhibition will showcase material from Rowlings personal archives, such as original drafts, and drawings by Jim Kay. There will also be a selection of rare books and manuscripts from Bloomsbury.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about the magical creatures in the Harry Potter stories, or take a lesson in Potions or Divination, make sure you book a ticket here. You’ll also get the chance to look at the 16th Century Ripley Scroll that explains how to create a Philosopher’s Stone. I will definitely be taking notes.
Tickets cost £16 for adults and £8 for children – you must buy them in advance on their website. Get purchasing Potterheads!
