Lego Ghostbusters

2014 marks the 30 year anniversary for the classic movie Ghostbusters! To celebrate, Brent Waller has created a commemorative lego set in its honer. He submitted his prototype to the Lego bosses last year, and they have finally come up with a verdict; the Ghostbusters lego set will go into production later this year. This is amazing news for Lego and Ghostbusters fans alike. I can’t wait to get my hands on some minifigs of the team.

The Ghostbusters lego set will consist of the four main characters; Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore. There will even be a minifig Slimer. The main feature of this lego set will be the Ectomobile, Ecto 1. It is based on a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Ambulance, The Ecto-1 is one of the most famous movie cars in the world, instantly recognizable even to those not familiar with the films. Brent also developed the Ghostbuster firehouse, whether this will be included in the set or not is another question.
